Conferences Minimize

Participation in National and International Conferences

Participation, announcements and project’s dissemination in national and international conferences. More specifically, the following activities have been carried out:

  • Participation of Dr Alexandra Papadopoulou (EPU/NTUA) in the VIIth European Mountain Convention, Lillehammer- Norway,  15-17th  of September 2010  (Agenda, Presentation).
  • Participation of Mr Dominique Jacques (RAEE) in Euromontana International Conference, Arantzazu, Onati, Basque Country, Spain, 14th – 16th of October 2009. Mr. Jacques’ participation not only contributed to the dissemination of the project activities, but also forged strong cooperation ties with the Euromontana mountainous network; (Agenda, Presentation)
  • Participation in the 4th national conference of the Association of the Bulgarian Energy Agencies – ABEA, held in Karlovo, Bulgaria, on December 11th, 2008. Mr. Zdravko Georgiev (SOFENA) presented the project and its activities to the representatives of 70 Bulgarian municipalities, stimulating the participants’ interest on the project activities and results.   • Participation in the 5th national conference of the Association of the Bulgarian Energy Agencies – ABEA. The conference was held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, on November 26-27, 2009. Mr. Georgiev from SOFENA presented the project results in front of 90 representatives of Bulgarian municipalities, experts and consultants working at municipal level and stimulating the communities towards local sustainable development. Special interest was expressed on both guidelines (D3.2 and D5.3) and possibilities for networking at local, regional and international level. (Presentation)
Workshops Minimize

Additional Stakeholders’ Workshops

  • Stakeholders’ workshop in Privas, France, June 11th, 2008, with the participation of all project partners. This workshop coincided with the 1st progress meeting’s implementation and constituted an excellent opportunity for the exchange of experiences between the project consortium and the regional stakeholders, the establishment of fruitful dialogue, the stimulation of the participants’ interest on RES and RUE technologies and their commitment towards their region’s energy sustainability. (Agenda, List of Participants, Presentations
  • Another regional workshop was held in Murau, Austria, by EAO, on July 3rd, 2008, with the participation of the most important regional stakeholders. The workshop’s aim was the presentation of the Mountain RES/RUE project, the discussion on the WP2 identified RES&RUE projects, as well as a discussion on the establishment of the Early Warning System in Murau. Other Dissemination Activities Minimize

Participation in other dissemination activities in national and European level

A series of presentations to selected French key stakeholders on the project’s activities and achieved results have been realized by PNRMA. These dissemination activities include the following:

  • Presentation to the Municipalities’ groupings “Val de Ligne” on May 13th, 2009, of PNRMA role and other key energy actors on PNRMA territory, as well as Mountain RES/RUE results. This presentation is targeted to increase Elected awareness on PNRMA energy issues and to help emerging municipalities’ grouping energy project as energy assessment on public buildings.
  • Presentation to the Municipalities’ groupings “Beaume-Drobie” on the 22nd of October 2009, regarding PNRMA role and other energy key actors on PNRMA territory, as well as Mountain RES/RUE results.
  • Presentation “VAE_matinée” to more than 20 tourist actors on October 7th, 2009.
Project Newsletters Minimize
  • As soon as the first concrete project results from WP2 were produced, EPU/NTUA developed and disseminated the first project newsletter, with the support of the whole project consortium, in February 2009. Other 3 newsletters followed in May 2009, in September 2009 and in December 2009, containing information on the project results, deliverables produced, as well as upcoming dissemination activities.   • 4 newsletters regarding PNRMA activities on the Mountain RES/RUE project. These newsletters were released to the local stakeholders on September 2008, January 2009, July 2009 and November 2009. (PNRMA Newsletter: 1, 2, 3, 4.)
